Film podle stejnojmenného bestselleru Jany Bernáškové vypráví příběh Lucie, herečky a matky samoživitelky. Její život je plný hořkosladkých momentů, ke kterým hlavní hrdinka přistupuje s humorem sobě vlastním. Do cesty se jí stále staví odmítnutí na hereckých castinzích, zklamání se v mužích i běžné starosti s malou dcerkou. Neustále tak bojuje nejen s životními překážkami, ale hlavně sama se sebou a se svým vnitřním hlasem, kterému říká Šedivka. Film pojímá mnoho důležitých, nejen ženských témat, a to svérázným humorem a situacemi, které píše život sám. 

Based on bestselling novel by Jana Bernášková, the film follows story of Lucie, an actress and single mother. Her life is full of bittersweet moments, which Lucie approaches with humor of her own. Rejection at acting castings, disappointment in relationships and ordinary struggles with her young daughter keep getting in Lucie´s way. She is constantly battling not only with life's obstacles, but mainly with herself and her inner voice named Shady. The film covers many important topics, not only for women, with its peculiar humor and situations written by life itself.
